PromptSmart is the incumbent, and it earned that: VoiceTrack is mature, it runs on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, and the suite carries remote control, team workgroups and a support corpus that a new product simply does not have. It is also roughly four times the price of VoiceCue at list, and it is sold as a suite rather than a focused prompter. VoiceCue is the narrower product — voice prompting, writing and recording — with wider documented voice-language coverage and no account needed to start. If you run productions with a crew, PromptSmart is the safer tool. If you are one person talking to a camera, most of what you are paying PromptSmart for is capacity you will not use.
