The short answer
These are not really the same product. BIGVU is a video marketing suite that happens to include a teleprompter: captions, filler removal, eye-contact correction, backgrounds, dubbing, brand kits, scheduling and multi-channel publishing all sit downstream of the record button. If that is the workflow you want, VoiceCue does almost none of it. But the prompter itself is the weaker half — BIGVU documents speed-set scrolling with auto-pause on silence rather than whole-script word matching, and the free tier caps you at nine minutes, 720p and a watermark. VoiceCue does the prompting properly and stops there.
Where they differ
7 differences. Everything else, they both do. Not documented means BIGVU publishes nothing either way. See all 24 audited features.
Choose VoiceCue if…
- You want the prompter to follow your words, not a speed you set. BIGVU documents auto-pause on silence, not whole-script word matching.
- You will not accept a watermark, a 720p ceiling or a nine-minute cap on free recordings.
- You want to start without an account. BIGVU is account-based from the first project.
- You import existing scripts — BIGVU is upload on iOS and copy-paste elsewhere.
- Price matters. VoiceCue Pro lists at $29.99/year against BIGVU Starter at $149/year.
Choose BIGVU if…
- You want captions, filler-word removal, eye-contact correction, backgrounds or dubbing without leaving the app.
- Publishing is the point — brand kits, scheduling and posting to multiple social channels are core BIGVU features.
- You work in a team and want a shared workspace with roles.
